I was driving along the M4 by newport on wednesday morning and noticed this puma so I had to whip out my phone to show you all.
Notice the colour coded mud flaps and GT40 stripes. 1112202173.gif

roflmao.gif The mud flaps look like wings as its trying to take off biggrin.gif Not sure about the stripes, but everyone is allowed their own opinion! At least he's kept it mostly standard and not tried to fit 22 inch spinners on it wink.gif

Worse thing i did to my Puma was modifying it...
Puma is alredy a coup‚ classic, and idialy should stay in his original look...
Mine has alloys, new stereo and speakers and leather seat, ditched anything else...
Puma 1.6

At the end of the day it is each to their own but I agree the Puma is a stunning car as standard. There has been a heavily modified one for sale on Ebay several times with no takers ( red/pink colour) which tells you all you need to know.
ex-owner of FRP 347 believe it is now R.I.P ! ...... now driving ....................... yes.... a Mondeo diesel. so per my daughter I am now Mondeo man, after Scoobies, BMW M5 etc etc .... ex-wife probably thinks how the not so mighty have fallen !!!

I don't like the mud flaps, but I think it gets away with the stripes, just.

If it was chav'd it would have stupid bike cans as the exhaust, wierd stumpy devil horn things on the roof and bumpers that look like they come from a different car. Also it would be on 80mm lowering springs and on 20" wheels with nonbranded "ditch seeking" tyres.

Oh and it would have a 1.2l engine that with the bike cans sounds like a jet fighter yet can hardly turn the wheels.

Nothing wrong with it, mud flaps aren't to my taste and the stripes arent too bad. Not chavved up at all.

I love to see seriously modified but near-standard looking cars...better known as sleepers.

The ones most people overlook but then you spot something is a bit different, look closer and it's a bit of a nutter in disguise crazy.gif

An example...

I can't get my head around why they do this

IMO most people look at them, not because they look good, but because they look SO BAD - they don't seem to perceive this...

Must be a psychological thing? (childish attention seeking? - good or bad regardless - it's ALL attention)
