If you can read the ODBC port to check for error codes?
Hego failing can create hesitant poor running that then might lurch into OK excelleration.
Spark plugs due a change?
searching is fruitful | I'm a sponge not a mechanic | please do try that if stuck with a Puma problem whilst waiting for a reply | For the Puma fan this read 'The Inside Story Book' is very nice to own sometimes still seen for sale

cheers, full sparks and leads only changed few months ago so doubt those.. can anyone read the ODBC for errors or does it need special gear or mechanic etc?

thanks happy, i took it in to local garage i know and he checked everything inc diagnostic etc... nothing major wrong so just did the oil and engine is fine, he reckons the clutch is the reason lacking power etc!? sounds logical, do you know how much these cost to fix and best place around London way?
