A scam maybe? If it's for sale in another country then this is a possiblity, especially if 92 is over here. Is the owner on this site?

When 0092 was with it's first owner, the dealer damaged the manifold whilst working on the car and a replacement was required. The dealer ordered a blank manifold and had it engraved. Unfortunately, the owner felt the engraving was not identical in appearance to his original manifold, so asked them to redo it on another new manifold. I would anticipate that the manifold on ebay is the one rejected for incorrect engraving.

I'm pleased to say that 0092 is very much alive and well......well it was when I left home this morning. biggrin.gif

Ed is spot on for the explanation of why there is a spare inlet plenum floating around. This one was on ebay once before, the original owner of 0092 was given the unaccepted one as well as the replacement that is now on the car and he sold it soon after he got rid of the car (to me via a Ford dealer). I was going to buy it just to take it out of circulation, but someone else from this site (Copa or something like that) bought it, and as previously stated he's in Spain. If I can get it for a reasonable price I'd still like to get it just to take it out of circulation!

Couple of pictures of 0092.....
