Hello all and I'm certainly glad this forum exists. We have a 2001 1.7 Puma and I've tried all over the place to get a workshop manual in order that I can service the car. Haynes don't seem to make one so does anyone have any idea where can I get the instructions for a standard service please?

Thanks in advance
Kevin

there is no manual for the Puma sad.gif
But the Fiesta one that covers the Puma's years of build will do for most bits.
Has a green cover wink.gif
MK4 XR3i
Mk3 XR3i
R Reg 1.7 Puma
T Reg 1.7 Lux Puma
Now its Racing Puma 072

I have just been looking at one of those, are they any good? Could you post a couple of samples of the content? I.e. is it purely text or is it similar to a Haynes with pictures/text examples?

Firstly.

Yes they are good.

However, they are actually the property of Ford Motor Company, and as such the sale of these items is illegal.

Secondly, the discs are actually out of date, and therefore using them could actually cause damage to your car. As an example, teh first batch contained incorrect service intervals, in particular for the cambelt and associated hardware. 100,000 miles or ten years. This was found to be overly generous, and the latter discs were changed to 80,000 or 5 years. There are other examples where the information is incorrect.

So, use if you want, but understand that

1) discussing them on here is a breach of TOS

2) using them may end up costing you more money

(Note - part of my job is to ensure that this data remains the property of Ford... )

no posting of content!
they are illegal copies of Ford data (plus all of what Matt has posted above)

apart from that

Welcome to the site biggrin.gif
this is a read about what to look for with your Puma
clicky me
searching is fruitful | I'm a sponge not a mechanic | please do try that if stuck with a Puma problem whilst waiting for a reply | For the Puma fan this read 'The Inside Story Book' is very nice to own sometimes still seen for sale

Aye, sorry, didn't really think about the implications of posting content created by other people, so to speak.

Will google around for the information I require!

The Inviki link was very useful though, thanks.
