Hi all,

I tried removing my abs sensor the other day on my thunder as it's due to be replace as it is faulty but the rust has ate the bolt so when I can't get a turn to turn the bolt to unscrew.

The only way I think now I can get this bolt out is remove the brake caliper/disc to get in behind the other side to drill through the bolt but my worry is the other two bolts if I unscrew them it might be the same scenario that they won't come out for me.

any advice would be much appreciated.

I've never once got an ABS sensor out cleanly, tried loads, they're just not strong enough.

Even if you get the bolt away, the case of the sensor will probably be seized in the hub. Nightmare things.

Get some irwin bolt removers on it! Only way with rusted bolts! I have managed to remove rear sensors by tapping them out with a 10mm socket
