Hi all,

I'm new to the site and have found the topics and knowledge here invaluable in fixing up my silver 1.7

I've had the car a couple of months and bought it for a mere 500 quid. A steal considering how much car I purchased!

Had a few parts to replace and swap out like the wheels (got some multi spoke 17"), air intake (ramair induction kit) and exhaust. As well as repairing some superficial rust around the edges.

And now her new brakes have arrived and just waiting for a break in the shite weather to go fit them.

The next step is the tensioner on the belt which is whining louder than the engine now. Should be an easy fix but it's expensive for a small part!

I'll update as soon as the brakes are done and take a pic for the old profile.

Thanks for a great forum people!
