3 Sister Sprint Pictures
#1

Afternoon all. I had the pleasure of spending last Saturday at the sprint event at the three sisters circuit where Caz and Dunk were marshalling.
I managed to take laods of pictures and i only got finished sorting through most of them last night. I have a few more to sort through which were taken on the start line, but have the paddock static shots and the action shots sorted.
There was a good selection of types of vehicle there and it was a cool event to watch and photograph.
as usual there are pictures on flickr here:

I've also put a few on here for you to enjoy too
all comments etc. welcome as always

some of the action.
As usual, clicking on the black bar to view full size will give a better quality image
This guy had spun off and his rear tyre had come off the rim
this guy had the biggest accident of the day. one or two runs after this one he managed to roll his R5. I think he was trying to here too

lol, It took me a while to reduce down the 1500ish pictures I took to a more sensible quantity (and to get rid of the crap ones too)

Cheers guys. I always like that sort of event as you get plenty of action through the day and it's a real mixed bag of entries too

We have the paddock @ Thruxton packed with larger machinery this weekend - the Trucks are coming.

These are looking great, your panning skills have really lept and these are fab action shots
searching is fruitful | I'm a sponge not a mechanic | please do try that if stuck with a Puma problem whilst waiting for a reply | For the Puma fan this read 'The Inside Story Book' is very nice to own sometimes still seen for sale

Cool. should be a good event there Pete. Haven't seen truck racing since I was a kid and my parents took me to see them at Silverstone, probably around 1990 or so

Thanks a lot kate. really appreciate the lovely comments Stupidly I'd forgotton to take my lens hood with me for the big camera so the bright conditions were catching the camera out on a few of the shots, but still pretty chuffe with them

Great news mate I'll have to come and see #559 (or the melina) in action next year. Perhaps a PP meet at one of the events is on the cards
