224 is indeed becoming a very nice drive! Cheers again for all the hard work Chris and these pics. Well chuffed!

Delighted to see absolutely no advisories at all on the MoT on Thursday! Result!

Time to get those alloys refurbed soon me thinks! And that front bumper off and re sprayed.

Forget those superficial improvements whip that rear bean off and get it shot blasted, zinc plated then powder coated :-)

I already have a spare beam at home Kate that needs stripping and powder coating etc which will get done later this year, along with tidying/replacing rusty rear springs and rear top mounts. Work done by Chris was mainly essentials to ensure the car got through the mot. All in good time and when funds allow!...

The alloys and front bumper do my head in as they make the car look shabbier than it is - the alloys are original and the lacquer has failed and peeled on spokes. Low mileage, original and unmolested is a preferable Frp starting point tho!... It's still on the original exhaust back box!!! There can't be many that are...

Wow a spare beam nice to have makes it easier. :-)
I have full original system in storage.
Wheels I had a perfect new (old) spare and I dropped it face down doh!
I think people say lepsons good for wheel refurb.
I use a place in Crawley they did OK job but valves wrong length too short.
