Well , picked the 51 Thunder up last month,, bad clunk from the back end ,,ok new Powerflex bushes,,new break pads all round,,new coil, plugs & leads, new cam belt, ( 130,250 mls).

Having the few rust magots cut out of the rear arches & steel plates tacked in but i dont know whether to make the arches wider or stick to the standar guage,, ( thoughts please ), & then clean & spray the whole underside,,dont know which colour yet,,maybe Ford blue just for a change from black gloss,,( yes or no guys ),

After all that summer should be here & i can put away my wellies & snorkel & make a few meets ...TTFN . Ade.

You'd need to also widen the track if you do the arches, I'd keep it standard.
Food blue sounds nice with a silver top.
Rust trap potential behind the fuel tank and behind the exhaust heat shield run if going for a full strip and protect. I use bilt & hamber products now also available stocked at opie oils as well as their own website.
searching is fruitful | I'm a sponge not a mechanic | please do try that if stuck with a Puma problem whilst waiting for a reply | For the Puma fan this read 'The Inside Story Book' is very nice to own sometimes still seen for sale
