Hi all, i thinking of buying aftermarket seats, what are the pitfalls, fitting etc? What about the seatbelt pre-tensioner whats the score with this, I read that disconnecting it causes a fault light on the dash which could lead to a mot failure. Any advice would be gratefully accepted

Hi
There are some great articles in the Wiki on after market seats and a fitting guide someone did for fitting their chosen seats
searching is fruitful | I'm a sponge not a mechanic | please do try that if stuck with a Puma problem whilst waiting for a reply | For the Puma fan this read 'The Inside Story Book' is very nice to own sometimes still seen for sale

yes watch out swapping seats as the pre-tensioners go a bit mental and the airbag light comes up so be careful taking seats out of a scrapper!

Swapped seats several times and they all seem slightly different from one Puma to another - my early blue one had electric adjustment for the drivers height and I put a Thunder interior in it - when brother in law smashed it we had a nightmare refitting the seats in another car!
