wanted to take some night shots while abroad at the weekend - camera plate would not fit in the tripod head - thought I had a part missing off the head (lost) as the plate would not fit the head properly

this afternoon I phoned the UK spares service - they were SO helpful - turns out there is nothing wrong with my head and I felt guilty taking their time for them to explain how to get the part numbers for all the spares should I need them in the future

Manfrotto might not be the cheapest but when the chips were down they came up trumps - thanks guys if anyone from there gets to read this

unfortunately it is a long way to go back to take the pics now...!

Good to know the support is there when you need it Ben.

Although it's probably not as fancy as your (or Matt's) I do like the manfrotto stuff I currently own, and definitely don't mind paying a bit more for good quality products with a good backup service too smile.gif
