On a day trip to Filey i was astonished to see this...

Was that near coble landing?
Attended so far...5th August ford fair 2007...12th August 4 counties meet
8th September Vickydinks birthday meet...29th September Dambusters meet,Sheffield...Puma and Tigra
meet at Gaydon...January 2008....NE meet...23rd February..The dales are alive with the sound of pumas,Dales meet....15th March.....this is the story so far............!!!more to come,woooo hoooo! :-)

Other side as if your coming from the golf club carpark spose that would make it the south side as the coble landing is morer north.This was caused by the flash flooding a couple of years ago just to add that danes dyke is undergoing similar work as the same result of those floods...This is the north end including filey brigg as i'm sure you'd already know

Great beach at Filey, we like it better than scarborough smile.gif

We went to see the scarecrows at Muston to day which is not far from Filey.

I guess we are so fortunate to have the coast as beautiful as it is @ our fingertips...We went to Thornwick bay last week Scarboro' also,When we got to ride with a "scooby owners club" ...

I have some very happy memories at Thornwick bay, great place to take some great shots too smile.gif

Bempton is another great place to go, not far from thornwick bay.

Yes, Glen gardens are at the top of the hill, on West Ave.

I think it suffered a fair bit of flooding down there, which i guess is why the digger is there, why they have to carry out these things when there are loads of tourists around, i don't know

As you come from the golfclub carpark and walk through the kiddies play area the mentioned gardens are to the left. the photo was taken on the walk down to the south promenade...

My mum's house was flooded on Muston Rd back then. The second time in five years.
Needless to say she has since moved.

I remember when muston rd, was last flooded, it was pretty bad.

I work down Muston rd, on the Whalfdale round by Filey dams, they were doing some work down there to reduce the flooding,

i think they were doing some drainage works.
