She did give fair warning though...isn't there someone to monitor this sort of thing just in case??

The show was absolutely live, so they had to live with it. A delay of a few seconds for "beeping" is common in America and increasingly so here (rembember TFI Friday anyone!), but wasnt being used here.

What about the three seconds between her saying "bleep this" and saying it??? I guess it just wasn't long enough :s

she had been warned no swearing. This was to me a total publicity stunt

I watched it live and creased up though

Has Carol McGiffen run face first into a wall? As for Joan Rivers, she looks how that Baggot woman from the face cream ads will look in 30 years time.

It doesn't take much to cause controversy in the states, does it? Joan Rivers' whole career has been about upsetting silly Americans (the sensible ones just laugh).

i guess in america, with the 3 second delay & bleeper...

they can actually use it to add effect, to the show...

however no need to swear in everyday life smile.gif

I was expectimng her to say something brave, not swear for effect! She is a numpty as are all the loose women. The Oxo woman is a real dirty old girl too, one of my mates had a "dalliance" with her and she was not only loose but perverted!

I would be hacked off if I had been watching with a 2 or 3 year old though! 1112202173.gif

You have a lot to learn Gav...

You wait til Emily goes to nursery, remember my little monster coming out with "that mans a wanker isnt he dad" when we were cut up in traffic once... He was only 3...

It wasnt TV that taught me to swear, it was school.
