The show was absolutely live, so they had to live with it. A delay of a few seconds for "beeping" is common in America and increasingly so here (rembember TFI Friday anyone!), but wasnt being used here.

i guess in america, with the 3 second delay & bleeper...

they can actually use it to add effect, to the show...

however no need to swear in everyday life

I was expectimng her to say something brave, not swear for effect! She is a numpty as are all the loose women. The Oxo woman is a real dirty old girl too, one of my mates had a "dalliance" with her and she was not only loose but perverted!

I would be hacked off if I had been watching with a 2 or 3 year old though!

You wait til Emily goes to nursery, remember my little monster coming out with "that mans a wanker isnt he dad" when we were cut up in traffic once... He was only 3...

It wasnt TV that taught me to swear, it was school.
