Weather looks great now, rain when the photos are due!

As for sensor damage, I was gutted. Was just using a puffer to clear a hair off it when I sneezed. Now it would appear that there is some dodgy chemical in snot, as I hadnt got any fluid so couldnt clean it off that day. By following day when I managed to get some, it had burnt 3 holes into what I am hoping is the IR filter.

Pissed off does not come close, and i have no idea how long camera will be away for sad.gif

Best of luck with the shoot Matt, although I'm sure you'll do a better job than I did at my sister's wedding laugh.gif
Looking forward to seeing how they come out.

I was sh!tting bricks too on the day lol.

Sorry to hear about the sneezing incident too. I hope the camera isn't away for too long when you send it off for repairs.

come up and see me...make me smile

if you can get to Lehmanns in Stoke they can do it while you wait - but you have to book it in first

have never done it that way but a coleague of mine has

they are excellent - in a thread you probably missed I sung their praises when one of my lenses went t1ts up and they turned the repair round in 2 days

ps - hope the wedding shoot goes/went well!

Glad thats done!

Thanks folks for the lovely words, @Ben, i'll contact them, see what they have to say, but seeing as camera is in warranty, ( even though damage isnt ) I will probably send back to Sony, just to be on safe side.

They day was great, only problem is that in working at a family wedding, from 9am to 12am the following day, you never get chance to relax ( as was seen when i knocked 3/4 pint over Jessie's camera....... )

Will wait for feedback from the Bride and Groom before I go and look at the photo's again, but the brief look I've had, I'm happy with all 26 Gb of them wink.gif

Only 26GB laugh.gif

Glad it went well, must feel satisfying. Even more so when they appear in an album/frames in the couple's house biggrin.gif
