Been busy this week working on 215.. (Pauls car, not mine)
quite a lot to do...
first up.. strip down the underside of the car...Gunk de-grease -- thorough jetwash... go in and have a shower...
come back next day and start scraping away at the rust exposing as much as possible...
then treat with Hydrate rust treatment...and shultz coat...
remove and replace knackered CV with Shaftec one..
Dismantle gear linkage and replace pole..
remove gearbox and knackered release bearing..original one..
install ST Clutch...
also fit new gearbox as the selector mechanism was knackered...
over to the brakes...
rear brake service using proper FRP pads (pictured on the right) made by Ferrodo
Front Alcon service...
Calipers in good nick..(have serviced them before) my custom pistons are still in fantastic condition despite car being used as a daily driver
Front suspension service changing top mounts and bearing... top mount rubbers squashed as hell as usual..lol
Exhaust back on, with a couple of new heatsheilds..gearbox etc...looking awesome!...

Nice work Chris!
Are the FRP rear pads different to the common Focus ones?
How do you find the ST clutch?

They are Focus pads, but there are at least a couple of different part numbers... these are the expensive ones that were the original fit from Tickfords... Retailing at £80 incl the Vat now from fords part counter...getting very pricey
Iv'e had them on my car for a few weeks now and they do feel noticably crisper
ST-- Slightly soft on the pedal but takes whatever you throw at it..

Wow Chris I see what you meant, I didn't really get a good look underneath, but Ben at the Dealer's was very impressed and confident with 0215 when we tested her out!
