Ok, after much deliberation I'm sadly selling FRP14
So to give a bit of a history....
I bought it in 2003 so have had it for about 14 years.
I've always kept it original (except full stainless exhaust) and very well looked after/serviced.
After looking through all my invoices I can't believe how much I've spent on it eek!
Full service history (all at pumabuild since my ownership). It's done about 67k and had it's cam belt done at 46k.
Full Miltek stainless system including stainless 421 manifold (kept original FRP sports cat)
FRP matching mats
At 59k...
New front disks and brake service.
New rear disks and calipers
New clutch at 60k
I've always made sure it's had whatever it needed regardless.
But sadly it's been off the road for a few years ( garaged at first and last couple outside).
Whilst I've done my best to look after it, i.e. Starting it up and running it up and down the road occasionally it needs some work.
I put it into a local garage for mot to see what needed doing and unsurprisingly it failed on a few things.
Rear brake pipes corroded, power steering pipes leaking, needs a small repair on one rear arch/sill where it's corroded, emissions (it's the original FRP cat which is leaking)
Brakes would most likely benefit from a service as they've not done a lot for a while.
Nothing too major but it all adds up and got me thinking weather to sell as it is or get the work done.
Their are the usual stone chips as you'd expect for a car of this age. Small amount of rust on rear wing side seam.
As I'm due to move house soon and have 2 demanding small children so selling it as is for £4000
As I said it's been much loved and looked after.
I have every receipt/invoice from new.
Also numbered tickford owners guide supplement
Thanks for reading this.
Pics to follow.
Cheers
Stu
A bit nerdy but….
Isn't it amazing what you find on YouTube. I was looking up frp's and came across a video of Peter Beattie from the racing puma day at Boreham, only to find my car was briefly featured in it. How excited was I! ;-) It was a great day.
