Have you had the weight measured to see how much lighter it is now?

What oil spec are you running in your gear box now?
searching is fruitful | I'm a sponge not a mechanic | please do try that if stuck with a Puma problem whilst waiting for a reply | For the Puma fan this read 'The Inside Story Book' is very nice to own sometimes still seen for sale

Yes Ive got a few when engine out etc and general rebuild of everything.

I will post more pic and details on Thurs.

Just have to say an frp with a close ratio box is devastatingly good. It complements the brakes, suspension etc and makes the absolute most out of car................

These where rebuilt using genuine alcons seal, cross over pipes etc.

Today was supposed to be my cleaning day as I have not clean the car yet since it was finished. It has either been raining or I have been working all the time. God you have to love Scottish weather. At least I know my passenged footwell leak has been cured happy.gif When I built the bulkhead back up I sealed off the heater matrix compartment and the pollen filter box.

This has been done to the exhaust manifold to help deal with the heat properties. My inlet manifold was powdercoated white because it is the cool side and wont melt after 3 seconds of starting the engine lol

I need to do some final tweaking as regards to panels as I had an unfortunate mishaps on the day of m.o.t.

I had left the day of the m.o.t to put the panels on but when I started the car in the morning I had a brand new ford water pump failure which was spitting water out of one of the holes that was sealed up properly. Ended up stripping car back down fitted my old water pump back in and quite literally throw all my panels back on and made my m.o.t by 1min.

I think the spoiler suits the car.

I feel the spoiler only suits the racing puma and not the standard width puma's. It get away with the spoiler height because of the wide arch kit tongue.gif

Have you had it on track yet?? you cant really hit the limit of the diff's capabilities on the road unless your nuts!! You can feel a massive difference on track as where a non lsd FRP would understeer and youd feel the front pulling wide, a diffed up car you will just feel the point of the front wanting to go wide but then the diff kicks in and pulls the front end back in tight, all without adjusting the wheel laugh.gif id say its almost like youve suddenly wound on a half turn of steering lock and its gripped. And it just keeps going usually as well as long as your smooth with the throttle!!

Just be very careful about feathering the throttle when the front pushes wide eventually as the back end will swing round quite quick on an frp if you lift off right on the limit like that!! Left foot braking is a good solution when the front does break free but it takes a lot of practice.
