Well owned a Puma for about a month now, bought it from my dad, who reckoned it the best car he has ever owned. Scratched the paint on the door on my parents wall on the first day :-(. Then got a stone chip the next. A week or so later I drove it into a kirb and took a big chunk out of the tyre.

On the plus side, new tyres - Goodyear F1s, thanks, whoever reccomended them on this site, also black circles were cheap too, though poor fitting, another story.

Handling is immense, I seem to have become heavy footed too, had a clapped out diesel before. Oh and it requires lots of petrol, as getting half the miles of my 306, smaller tank and what seems to be a diving boot on my right foot ;-). Lights not too bright either, just fitted new headlights, and may adjust them later.

Great car overall, chat again soon... and photo of new car to come.

For info 1.7, Y reg, Atlantic Green I think.

come up and see me...make me smile

Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, champagne in one hand - strawberries in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and screaming WOO HOO -What a Ride!:D

Blind spots in the puma? No problem for a master driver like myself! tongue.gif

Well another few days of driving, never filled up a car quite so much. 35k miles, OK, pacific green then... ;-). I think I had another bit of metal thrown up at me on the M1, scared the sh1t out of me, hit the windscreen, but no lasting damage. The blind spots are a little tricky that is true. I think the front lights are terrible, main beam is OK, will adjust shortly. Even the new xeon lights haven't helped. Any suggestions.

Currently living in Surbiton, SW London, might be moving to the NE soon, what meets are worthwhile / happening?

I think Pumabuild sell uprated headlight bulbs, the standard ones are rubbish!
