Ever since I got my puma, never had the ABS and TC working.
And no, no lights on dash simply because the previous owner removed both TC and ABS warning signals.
So, of course they'll never light on...
but even without the lights, i'd like to have ABS working. I know the Puma is supposed to make a noise self testing. mine doesn't do it.
Where should i look at first?

I think a diagnostic reader might say which wheel's abs sensor isn't working. The is a thread on cleaning the sensors you could try a search for it.
searching is fruitful | I'm a sponge not a mechanic | please do try that if stuck with a Puma problem whilst waiting for a reply | For the Puma fan this read 'The Inside Story Book' is very nice to own sometimes still seen for sale

It won't self test if its faulty.
You need a code reader that will do Ford ABS
Assuming the modulator is still connected there will probably be codes there relating to the problem.

I have an Bluetooth OBD2 reader I usre on my MK6 fiesta. But this reader with torque app, didn't show any abs error.
Any android app recommendations? (or windows 32 bits, i have an old netbook with WinXP laying around under my bed)
