There are some nasty interior rattles on my Puma, from within the dashboard, mostly from the passenger side. Occurs when driving slowly, but not while stationary.
Something is definitely loose in there, but despite my best efforts, I haven't been able to pin-point it. It's not linked to the fresh air blower or any other function that I can tell. Just an annoying resonance.
If there's a particular part or fitting inside the dashboard that regularly causes this? If there is, I would be interested in hearing about it as the noise is really driving me nuts.

Next step of course will be removing the dashboard assembly completely and see what's going on in there.
But according to the Haynes manual, removal is a huge job compared to other cars I've worked with. Do you really have to remove the steering column altogether?
In any case, if you have any useful tips for me, I would be interested in hearing about it.

I've already fixed door cards (new pins stopped their rattling) and some rattle from the gear stick is apparently due to a loose rivet in the shift linkage, so that should be easy to fix. But this dashboard rattle, it is elusive!

The Haynes Fiesta Manual (3397) can answer a lot of your questions.
