HI ALL, THOUGH IT WAS ABOUT TIME I INTRDUCED MYSELF

My name is jodie and ive just brought my first puma, its in metalic blue went for the 1.4 option cheaper on tax and insurance and all that blargh blargh . Shes a liitle bit poorly to say the least and is in some need of tlc which i am preparred to give her, ive only drove her once and its safe to say im in love already lol , she drives like a dreammmmmmmmmm. and i expect her to drive even better when shes repaired.

I brought her and she was smoking so under closer inspection and a few hours spent removing the head (hubby doing that bit of course) it has a burnt out valve, head is now in workshop being recondiotioned and having full new set of valves.

While the head is of she is having new piston rings, as this was proberly the cause of the problem, also new cambelt, fan belt, thermostat, water pump looks quite new anyway, shes also having new pads and discs and a fuel filter, she should be ready for the road by next week and i cant wait to drive her im so excited.......

Hi Jodie, welcome to the site.
If you have any questions about the car, the Wiki guide is very good.
Failing that I'm sure someone on here will know the answer :)
They are fantastic cars to drive.
As you can see below, I am on number 3 Puma.

Just as a side note, I see you have listed your gender as "male" ;)
MK4 XR3i
Mk3 XR3i
R Reg 1.7 Puma
T Reg 1.7 Lux Puma
Now its Racing Puma 072

Hi, welcome to the site, I am still enjoying my first puma six weeks after purchase.

This site has already been very useful, wish i had more time to work on car but with running a business, working on house/garden and twin boys; not much time!

Have fun.

Since my first car I have always looked to own cars that would be great to drive, but on a reasonable budget. These are the cars that I have owned over the years, from my first to present:
1. Mk1 Fiesta 1300S | 2. Mk1 Fiesta XR2 | 3. Puma 1.7 in Melina Blue | 4. Mk2 Toyota MR2 GT | 5. Mk3 Cortina 1600L | 6. Honda CRX ESi | 7. Ford Sportka | 8. Honda Civic VTi -S | 9. Toyota Yaris 1.8 SR | 10. Honda Civic 1.8 SE i-vTEC | 11. Puma 1.7 in Moondust Silver
