anybody fitted one??

hello was just wondering if anyone has fitted an eco-tek valve as when i was at Pumabuild paul said they were good but made the engine sound like it had asthma??

anybody fitted one of these and is it hard??

i have one, a few pother peeps have them aswell, if they are set up correct, you shouldnt hear it in the car atall!!! ;-)

are they mainly just for better fuel consumption??

they dont do the engine any long term damage then?? did you fit it yourself

very easy to fit and theres no damager atall unless you takeit off, youmay want a new vacuum pipe!!! ;-) they do help with fuel consumption yes but i can notice the difference when it is on/off with changing gear, seems smoother when its on????? ;-)

Be very careful with these.. Mine came loose whilst driving, and apart from the horrid noise and bad engine running, it took all the power from the brakes whilst bombing down a country lane. Fortunately I noticed before really needing the brakes, so could coast it to work and sort it out.

Didn't make any noticable difference on economy either.. Once I get round to finding a new bit of brake hose, I'm getting rid of mine.
