There's a charity track day at RAF Marham, Norfolk on the 12th October too. Only £70. A colleague of mine (moderator on retro-rides forum) has just been pitching it to me.

ok...just spoke to RS owners club...

Track day time has all gone.....

also,

this year it is being offered to RS owners club members only....

the price is quite reasonable at around £130 for the day... you get assigned a group, then your group gets 15 or 20mins per hour with an hour off at lunchtime...

price to join the RS club is around £35....

Kev.... he he...you have the track bug laugh.gif

Oulton Park it is at the moment then.... smile.gif

Chris, Castle Combe has very little run off and what it has is not where you are likely to need it wink.gif personally though it is fab ciruit, it is not fab for getting it wrong.

There is this coming up at Combe in November
Charity track day

They will give tuition in your own car.
Plus its unlimited number of times you can go out ohmy.gif

Just taken this from a Chippenham site I belong to rolleyes.gif
I have had an email from www.benelliottracing.com about another track day they are doing at castle combe on the 29th of november, this one is for the NSPCC

I did a day with them in feb and it was very good with some interesting cars so I am very tempted to do this one too.

If anyone else is interested go to the web site and get a booking form.

Prices are

Car Including 1 Driver for the day £140
Extra Driver £25
Passenger £5
Helmet Hire £10
Tuition session (15 - 20 min) £15
Parade Laps (4 laps behind safety car) £20
normally 15 min sessions, but is unlimited...

Can't predict the weather in November though ohmy.gif

From the looks of the Video, Just go carefully around Quarry Corner rolleyes.gif

I was chatting the one of the marshals, on Toby & Lisa's sprint day.
He was stood there when the BMW landed on top of the Old Lotus.
The Lotus didn't have a mark on it, just kissed the tyres, before the BMW arrived .

The driver was in tears. sad.gif

As we are encouraging people new to track driving, as well as those more experianced, would Bedford or somewhere similar be more appropriate? The MSV trackday I did at Bedford last December was great fun. Can't say I really like the idea of CC in November. sad.gif

On another note, as interest in track driving is high, I'll attempt to set up a Puma only track session during Ford Fair next year. smile.gif Would be fun for those taking part and make a good sight for those spectating too!! biggrin.gif biggrin.gif biggrin.gif I could see some great photo's coming out of it. biggrin.gif
