Alreet guys!

Got abit of a problem, when ever i open my boot in FRP 137 the carpet is always a tad wet.
Obviously mostly is when i open the boot after its been raining and the boot door allows rain water drip inwards but it seems even on a dry day it still looks abit wet. Anyone had the same problemo?
Also theres a hole under the carpet which i covered up since ive owned my FRP, was the hole for ventilation or something? The only reason why i covered it was that it was always mucky around it.

Hope some of you guys can solve me problem!

Cheers

Eddie

is the plate filling the spare wheel holder loose? does it need new mastic seal?
is the grommit on the wiper arm loose?
is the tailgate glass seal perished?
last one might be the fixing mounts for your rear bumper, but check the others first

Thanks for your advice Happy Kat!

Yeah, think its the hole that holds the spare wheel up, it never had anything on when i bought it so ive covered it with a meatl plate!
Think the rear wipers are good, so it could be the glass seal!
What would i do if its that? Its a pain the puma boot lets water drip in aswell when its been raining and you open your boot, its not just mine is it?

Cheers

Or your pipe supplying your rear screen wash could be leaking.

Thanks happy kat,

i've managed to get the time tohave a look at the leak today, took the rear lights out and replaced them (the three bolts were very loose on drivers side)

can't seem to work out if it is coming from the bumper mounts... its really frustrating!! the water appears at the front of the boot (nearest rear) in the corners never masses of water, just a small puddle... think i may have to fold the rear seats down a lay in the boot and get some one to spray water at it whilst i wait for the leak!

i guess i will have to take the rear bumper off... any one know how easy this is??!

Any other information on this would be awesome!

Cheers

Bumper fixing plate re-designed, showing white here, stopped water getting in to rear and wetting behind rear seats.
