It was great to see you again too Barry. biggrin.gif I very much enjoyed the cake too and I think that goes for the many passers by that had a slice too!! biggrin.gif

I think collectively we can be very proud of our efforts in putting together and manning such a professional looking stand. biggrin.gif However, Caz and Dunk have put in a superhuman effort into preparing this event and that has certainly been reflected in the quality of the final result. biggrin.gif

Pats on the back all round I think. biggrin.gif

I should, of course, also have said.... the stand itself would not have been possible without Dunk!

I'd never have been able to put together such a monstrous meccano set myself, never mind have planned it out and drilled all the holes in the right places wink.gif

My living room currently looks like a mixture between a Ford Parts department and the aftermath of an explosion in a gazebo factory tho......

Just thought I'd post again to say how much I enjoyed being at the NEC for the 4 days, the stand looked so good and was so big aswell, especially when the RS owners club only had space for 2 cars laugh.gif . Brilliant to meet new faces like Barry, and David (#500). Cheers Barry for recommending that polish, it will help Vlad get even shinier biggrin.gif laugh.gif cool.gif Good to walk round with you and Dave (#77) too, hey, we were looking good in the DB9.

Thanks to Caz and Dunc for making the stand look so good, I'm very impressed with Dunc's building ability ja_cool.gif .

Lovely to see Dave (V4) and Sian, Alex and Bill , Big Al, Andy C too. My mum had a really nice time on Friday and said to say thanks, and Rowena, Tommy and Amenda really enjoyed it on the sat.

And finally thanks from me.

Just want to say how much I enjoy this show....and the FRP stand looked really good. Great to see you Vas...even though it was for such a short time....there was just so much to see including the MPH Show....did anyone see the Land Rover/ Range Rover driving course?.... How good are those at off road!!!....and how scary did the bit when the platform with the car on tilted right over to the left. ohmy.gif Really looked like the cars were just going to role over! ohmy.gif

All the FRPs looked great, especially 385!!! and I hope there was plenty of interest in the cars over the 3 days (Hopefully so the interest will bump up the value of them to well above this stupid price that some are selling for ohmy.gif !!!)

Fantastic show,

a lot of hard work but all worth it,

i didnt stop for to long but people was even asking me questions about the FRPs whilest i was there,
think the t-shirt i had on gave it away that i owned one.

If you need a car for next time then im sure i can get time off work, then it will be a good excuse to get my wheels refurbed,

just need to remember the camera next time, so big thank you for posting pictures

thank you all for the effort and good to meet other frp owners

Just got a copy of Octane magazine (Jan 2008 issue) and they've got a pic of the Classic in it! It's on pages 8 and 14.....

Guess which hall the pic is of, and which stand is most prominent in the pic wink.gif
... I'll scan it later and post it up for all to see biggrin.gif

also just saw in my local paper a write up about the mph show, going on next door i believe, and a write up
http://www.westerndailypress.co.uk/display...e=sidebarsearch

but what may interest us all
"A highlight for me was the Ford Racing Puma, which was created in a limited run of just 500. The bodywork was changed to give it a wider front and rear wings with 17in rims"

and in the paper was a pic of frp, think i read it was vas, as had the £22,750 price in the window.
