Thinking Of Selling Frp140

It's been a long time since my last post here. Thats what happens when you have children ;-)
I think the time has come to sell my trusty FRP.
It's been kept outside on a driveway and needs a bit of loving.
It needs a few things doing to it so couldn't decide weather to spend the money fixing them or just sell it as it is.
As I've not seen any for sale recently I've no real idea on what's the best approach/demand/value.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Cheers

Asking price would depend on a lot of things. But the good news is they don't come up for sale very often and the prices are steadily increasing.
I would say the most attractive selling points from a buyer's point of view are...
Service history, as you know this engine will go for a long time with regular oil changes.
Recent cam belt change. If not been done in the last 5 years then it's quite a hefty outlay for a new owner.
Recent(ish) front brake service. This again is not a cheap job and will need doing for the car to drive like it should.
Rust on rear arches and sills, can also be a very expensive fix to do correctly.
Originality and provenance. This goes for any older car really. Most buyers don't want other people's mods and like to see where the car has been.
Most other stuff is basically same as selling any other 17 year old car.
Taking all this into consideration, you could ask anything between 4 and 10k. Lol, that probably doesn't help much, but 4k would buy a 'decent runner' and 8k and above would get a really good one.
Hope this helps.

I've always kept it original (except full stainless exhaust) and very well looked after/serviced.
After looking through all my invoices I can't believe how much I've spent on it eek!
So to give a bit of a history....
I've had it for about 14years. Full service history (all at pumabuild)
It's done about 67k and had it's cam belt done at 46k.
New front disks at 59k and brake service.
New clutch at 60k
I've always made sure it's had whatever it needed regardless.
But sadly it's been off tha road for a few years (some garaged and last couple outside).
Whilst I've done my best to look after it, i.e. Starting it up and running it up and down the road occasionally it needs some work.
I put it into a local garage for mot to see what needed doing and unsurprisingly it failed on a few things.
Rear brake pipes corroded, power steering pipes corroded and needs a small repair on rear arch/sill where it's corroded.
Brakes would most likely benefit from a service as they've not done a lot for a while.
Nothing too major but it all ads up and got me thinking weather to sell as it is or get the work done.
Danger is though, if it get the work done I might not want to sell it.
Cheers

I've started uploading pics but for some reason I can't copy all of the link code on my iPad.
Will try tomorrow at work.

Going to be very sad to see it go. Hope I don't regret it. At least it's to an enthusiast.
Thanks to everyone.
