Hi everyone,
My name's Ximo, I'm from Spain and I'm the owner of a 2001 1.6 Black Puma. I bought it in October 2010 with 110.000 Km on it. I'm the 3rd owner.
I'm also a proud member of the Club Ford Puma Spain www.clubfordpuma.com/foro/ and we're trying to hang on and keep up with the spirit of this awesome car.
Although in Spain the Puma wasn't a success, we are quite members, all of them wonderful people, I can tell you that, and we're trying not to lose anybody along the way.
As you may know this economic crisis is kicking us really hard and it's easy to decide to sell your car because you cannot maintain it.
I'm quite happy with it although I've had some understandable minor issues.
I'm not going to sell it never because it's my first car, paid with my own money and the one I always wanted since I was 13 and I saw that Steve McQueen commercial.
The big "modifications" I made so far are some 17" Ford Fiesta alloys and a 6000K xenon kit to improve the poor serial bulb lights.
I've been reading some of your articles, specially the ones related on the FRP wide arches, as I need to re-spay it and the wide Puma looks incredible for me.
Other projects in mind are the purchase of some Black Sparco Torino seats and the improvement of the power of the engine step by step.
Keep in touch and sorry for my English.
Ximo

¿LAs llantas (feminine)noun) - Ford Kuga?
They belong to a 2009 Ford Fiesta sport, but they're really similar to the Kuga ones.
