I fitted my new after market steering wheel the other day with no problems but today I disconnected the air bag lead so I could tuck it behind the boss properly.......but I left the battery connected while doing it and after that I couldn't start my engine. I've checked the fuses, disconnected the battery for an hour to try and reset it but every time I try and turn the ignition the immobiliser light just flashes. Any suggestions as to what the problem could be? Thanks 👍

Find and reset the fuel cut off switch is my guess.
You might have reset it to off.

Any of the yellow clips in the car are connected to the aiirbag system and could cause the airbag or pretensioners to trip and fire. Best to disconnect the battery to be safe and not headless and wait a while before fiddling with those connectors.
searching is fruitful | I'm a sponge not a mechanic | please do try that if stuck with a Puma problem whilst waiting for a reply | For the Puma fan this read 'The Inside Story Book' is very nice to own sometimes still seen for sale

As above be careful working on airbags, you must disconnect the battery and wait at least 20 mins before going anywhere near them. I would check your wiring to the transponder, which is around the ignition barrel .you may have dislodged it whilst changing the steering wheel.

I completely forgot about this post.......sorry folks but yes I did manage to get running again, all that had happened was during the change over of steering wheels I had knocked the transponder and managed to slightly unplug the leads to it 🙈🙈🙈
