Focus 17s on a Puma?

I really like the 7-spoke 17s as standard on the Focus MP3 and the new Focus 'sport'.

I've only had my Puma two weeks, and am wondering if these wheels would go straight on without any problems? I guess it would need lowering to make it look right?

Where would be the best place to get them from other than Ford?

cheers all biggrin.gif

I am getting ST170s fitted tomorrow at Pumabuild...Alan is putting longer bolts on cos I need a wider spacer to ensure there is no rubbing.I will be having it lowered too at some point... biggrin.gif

The wheels will go straight on but you might find that there could be a possibility that they might rub on full lock (on the front) or rub on the rear shocks. This can be eliminated by using wheel spacers (nothing extreme say 5mm).

As for obtaining a set, your best bet is to check out the classified sections of car magazines like Fast Ford or speak to Alan at Pumabuild, he might have acquired a set.
Now HiD ready. Are you ready for the switch over?

The tyre wall is narrower, so less energy from bumps will be absorbed. Will seem firmer. :yell: AVOID POTHOLES AT ALL COSTS!!!
