Hi, if your staying in London why not check out Bury Market ( www.burymarket.com) its situated on the south bank of the thames right next to London Bridge tube station. The market is fantastic and well worth a visit, within 10 minutes walk is a number of London famous attractions on the River Thames, William Shakespeares Globe Theatre, Tate Modern Art Gallery , The Golden Hind and Southwark Cathdral. Also check out Covent Garden for great street entertainment.
If Your looking for reasonable flexible accomodation in Paris check out www.hotel-bb.com .enjoy your trip.

London: Piccadilly Circus, Trafalgar Square / Nelson's Column, St. James's Palace, Ritz Hotel, Hyde Park, Buckingham Palace, Westminster Abbey, Big Ben and Parliament, 10 Downing Street, The London Eye, Covent Garden, St Paul's Cathedral, Tower Bridge. Not necessarily in this order. Probably best to get a tour bus or something.

Paris: Take the Metro from the Eurostar terminal down to Jardin du Luxembourg, then you can walk up to the Notre Dame Cathedral, then along the Seine, nip into the Louvre Museum to see the Mona Lisa and Venus De Milo, then through Jardin des Tuileries, walk down the Champs-Élysées, check out the Arc de Triumph, then onto Trocadero and Eiffel Tower. It's a long walk but you can do it in a day.

Also worth visiting The Rodin Museum to see The Thinker, Sacré-Coeur (the highest point in Paris) and Montmartre where all the artists are if you have another day in Paris.

Rome: Never been, can't help you here.

There probably are tour buses in Paris, but I did the route described above on foot, in that order and it was a really nice walk. It is about 9km of walking though, so wear comfortable shoes!

Would definitely recommend getting a tour of London on a bus - not nearly as nice to walk around in my opinion.

Art isn't my thing either - but it would be rude not to go see the Mona Lisa while you're in town, right? Venus de Milo is also worth a look in the Louvre, and I personally really wanted to see Rodin's The Thinker so I went to that Museum the next day.

You can have dinner up the Eiffel Tower, but you need to book - food is very good. About 80-90EUR per person though.

The street market at Montmatre has the most incredible artists if you wanted to get a portrait of the Mrs, and the view from Sacré-Coeur is mental.

If you're going to Paris, try to avoid French people. You'll thank me for it.

Paris was my first ever trip abroad when i was younger...went by plane. Gotta say Paris is Beautifull, but the people were bloody awful. I can remember trying to order a can of coke at a stall next to the eiffel tower, I couldn't speak much French at the time so just tried to muddle through....the woman serving just got stroppy and shooed me out the way and served the person behind me in the queue. Charming!

One thing you will quickly learn...parisiens do not like the English.

BUT, I subsequently learnt , after chatting to some French people a few years ago in a little quaint village on the Somme (where my dad has a place) that French people also hate Parisiens....Hahaha.

Enjoy your trip, I'm sure u will....just try to avoid French people in Paris (difficult I know..lol)
