it's quite simple to do, it's just a little pricey, because LUK one is £137. there are cheaper ones, but that sort of design relies on quality. Then you need to buy another thrust bearing for the other part.

LOL - mot time....not great. It's impoosible to get through mot's. I've just rebuilt the engine, completely refixed and sealed the exhaust system. Installed a brand new cat. Using aftermarket ecu so i can change everything as the test is going on...it still took 45mins to get it through it's emmisions....wtf. I hate these cars....even other rally cars can get through mot's easier. I reckon it's either to do with the cam timing being that they never really close...or it's because the cat is so far back.
In the end i was dumping fuel to the exhaust system, heating the cat red hot, then leaning it out to 0.97 at 2100rpm and it just just crept in.

Going to have to sell my car. Got a lot of spares. Needs a remap but brand new rebuilt engine if anyone wants a toy?

Well I rebuilt it. But it had done 45k
It's all brand new
So I can split engine. Ported an polished head with frp cams £500, Block £150, Throttle bodies £300
