Hi I raced with 100% win success this year a 1600 puma, the front was set up with spacers as I waited to source FRP components, I have fitted the FRP kit, now have FRP driveshafts, the knuckles will get machined only stumbling block was the wishbones and the FRP modified ones look weighty and not ideal, I spoke to compbrake and they are now willing to sell FRP suitable wishbones with rose joints, I suggested they make them 20 mm longer with long bottom joint, this will help get the full 25mm without winding the joint fully in, I ordered the first set today, another seller on ebay is advertising his Fahren Wishbones as FRP but they are standard, if anyone is interested the link is here

I've made a couple of FRP wishbone sets up over the years and added additional strengthening as I was concerned about the forces on them. Be interesting to see how they hold up next season.

Slightly off topic i know, but machining the knuckles usually means using the FRP dampers - is there a source of motorsport spec dampers now with FRP dimensions? Am interested in doing something similar converting my race Puma to wide track but wondering if keeping standard Puma/Fiesta knuckles and seeing if the resulting amount of negative camber is a good thing?!
