Hi can anyone give me a breakdown of the Puma dashboard warning lights. A yellow light came on this week and now the car has cut out completely and wont turn over at all. Any input would much appreciated. Thanks

Hi Daniel - welcome along. Have you got an owner's manual as it should tell you in there? If not, someone will be along who can advise.

Try describing the light to us please.

Yellow = Caution, Red = Warning.

Hi sorry no user manual im afraid.. First the abs and traction control lights came on last week however i think the problem is unrelted. The a yellow light which looks very similar to the sceenwash symbol came on but in the shape of a rectangle instead of a screen with an upward jet passing through a line. The fault seems electrical as here was no splutter or misfire from the engine it just cut out while stationary as if i had removed the key. Inside the car electrics seem fine.. lights, central locking, guages etc... Possibilities in my mind, immobiliser, doubt it could be the alternator or starter motor as the car wont bump start at all. Not even when on tow.

Rick

The Haynes Fiesta Manual (3397) can answer a lot of your questions.

Great so all these lights are unrelated to my main problem. Does anybody have any idea of what my not starting issue could be?
Thanks

If the car turns over but will not start, then fuel/electric or immobiliser problem.

Just reread OP, Puma garage list linked in my sig block (for advice), or call an auto-electrician

Late reply again........

Did you fix it?

The starter clicks when trying to start if the battery is nearly flat, i've had it a few times :)
