Hi all

Picked up my puma yesterday and it drives like a dream. Its a melina blue 1.7 lux model 59 thousand miles. Only thing is the dealer told me it was going to have a service but on looking at the service history the last service was over a year ago mellow.gif So im going to have a talk with him later.

Anyways just wanted to say hi as the forums look like a great place to learn more and more about my new car.

Just a few quick questions to you guys:

1) What oil do you think is best to use on a 1.7?
2) What tyre pressure should front and back be

Thanks!

Hi, Welcome! Did you not get a handbook with it? Sorry I can't remember for sure which oil and pressure so don't dare post in case it's wrong, but there will be someone along shortly who does!

Glad to see another big grinner biggrin.gif

Yeah the cam belt was one of the most important things i wanted to get straight with the furrows ford dealer. The cam belt had been changed march 06 so he said its ok for another 4 years.

About the manual thats another thing ive got too see him about as he didnt give me one. Dont know if he just forgot or hasnt got one but i wont be happy if it hasnt got one sad.gif

The car is a V reg 1999 cool.gif and came with a 12 month warranty

or sooner if you do 80k miles from the last change smile.gif
Did he use the Ford cam belt kit or only change just the belt do you know? (perhaps it is on a receipt)
