I have noticed that the handling of my Kat has become sloppy. I can't really explain very well but it seems there is play in the suspension - like the whole thing feels a bit mushy if that makes any sense!?

Any ideas? I suspect the bushes are on the way out. The car is a 2001, 30k on the clock. Does it seem reasonable that this is the reason for the sloppy feel? The tyres are new and I had the lower arm bushes replaced at Pumabuild a few months ago but I know there are a few more bushes lying around under there which probably need replacing.

Try checking your tyre pressures. I can tell when mine are out, the front end goes woolly and doesn't turn in particularly well.

I am in N/W London now. Quite tempted to get the items that you had done Pete. (Bushes and ECU upgrade).

I have used Pumabuild before but I am quite tempted to try Tremona. How much did the total bill come to with parts & labour? If I remember correctly you sourced the bushes from Pumabuild right?

I'll double check the tyre pressures but I am pretty sure they are spot on.
