So after reading up on how to clean your weather beaten headlights I thought I'd give it a go.
Here are the before pics.

After a little wet and dry using 600 / 800 & 1500 it was time for the real work. Original T cut and plenty of elbow grease.
I have to say it was not that tough a job.

As it was dark and almost time for me to go to work I have not been able to get the finished product pictures done.
That will have to wait until the morning, or at least the afternoon when I get up.
Happy Christmas to all.

Here are the finished articles.

Which guide did you follow, and how long did it take (for both)?

I'm planning on doing this soon.

I just used the wet & dry method followed by good old T cut & elbow grease.
At a guess I would say about 2hrs for both.

Ah right, so you just smoothed the outside?

Looking at mine, I figured it had dust on the inside and I've seen a guide about taking the whole thing apart and cleaning it, which takes a few days to dry.

Yours look insanely good, trade you? :P

Did inside but used a hair dryer to speed up the drying time. You could always do one, use a hairdryer then leave it on a radiator while you start to wet and dry the other.
Well worth doing. Better light and far better looking.

I had a leak in mine a while back, took it to the garage and told them to dry it out.

"Well, I've had the lad hold a hairdryer to it for a while, but not too long as I didn't want to melt it"

Came back just about as wet as when I dropped it off.

Apparently my garage haven't got an understanding of the finer points of controlling a hair-dryer.

My days of using a hairdryer are long gone, along with the hair LOL.
Still know how to use one though !!

Well worth the effort giving the lights a rub down and polish. A little effort for a big result.
Have a go and post up your before and after pics.

I use Meguiars PlastX on mine and it always brings them up a treat.
