Just spent a lot of £££ repairing some accident damage, fixing the rear arches, rustproofing etc. on top of full suspension rebuild last year with new discs and exhaust (after 16 years!).
Insurance company would have scrapped the car so we opted not to claim and pay for all ourselves.
Now want to be covered for a "reasonable value" so that if anyting happens in future we have some chance of not facing this decision again.
This is a Nov. 2001 1.7 VVT with 43K on the clock owned since new in Moondust Silver,
Can anyone give us advice on where to go for "agreed valuation" insurance, what value we should put on the car, and what we should expect to pay?
Thanks a lot
David

Adrian flux have policies where agreed value might be available. Can't help with what the insurance load cost might be.
Great to see one repaired and lovely low mileage.

searching is fruitful | I'm a sponge not a mechanic | please do try that if stuck with a Puma problem whilst waiting for a reply | For the Puma fan this read 'The Inside Story Book' is very nice to own sometimes still seen for sale
