My Puma's still in the bodyshop so whatever happens I cannot put these on now anyway. Wanted them to make the car look that little bit "Smarter" but not sure now,May even be illegal?

Then I think they'd look OK.

Giving the police an excuse to stop you isn't always the best idea though unsure.gif

im guessing there tinited rear lights...?? if so then theres nothing illegal with them aslong as the reflecters still reflect the light....if they dont then you can get pulled, but you can get round this by sticking so relfecters on the arse end of the car or on the lights

Yeah I'll give them a go. I'll post some pics when I get the car back from the bodyshop the end of next week.

As mentioned above - as long as the reflectors are still visible and the lights shine through it will be fine.

Should look good on a Panther Black biggrin.gif

I have just got some of these off ebay but I can't figure out how to remove the rear light assembly or what tools I might need. (I am a bit crap when it comes to car maintenance)

Any tips would be appreciated.

What dissapointed me with these is that they are obviously sprayed rather than proper smoked glass. Good job though but still blush.gif

Have you looked at your lights on tho, as when sprayed they can be blotchy, and you'll notice it.

IIRC these are 3 bolts holding the light in, accessible from inside the boot, behind the carpet flap. You need a ratchet handle, extension bar and bit.

Beware though when tightening up, don't overdo it. I believe overtightening of the fixing bolts distorts the light unit and causes the clear covers to form small cracks. There is a foam rubber weatherstrip between the light and body, just ensure the light is tight enough against this- don't keep tightening until the bolt is completely done up and won't turn...

Well if you choose not to keep them and sell them i'd be interested. Everytime i go to buy a rear cluster for the white lenses they get sold! :'(
