K & N Induction Kit

i've just bought a k&n induction kit and was wondering about the little valve/sensor type thing on the standard pipe?

any advice or guidance would b great for my beginners brain lol thanks peeps

Realistically the air box mod worth doing is the FRP air box modifications on the Puma.
I think you will notice a noise change which you might enjoy.
searching is fruitful | I'm a sponge not a mechanic | please do try that if stuck with a Puma problem whilst waiting for a reply | For the Puma fan this read 'The Inside Story Book' is very nice to own sometimes still seen for sale

It runs a hell of a lot better on the proper sealed induction system.. :good:

Why is not ok to put the K&N induction system and why is the stock induction (with frp mod) better than K&N's?

the induction kits are total crap...

the way they fit is poor, the way they sound is poor.. and they also let in oily air straight back into the inlet

contaminating the Air charge sensor and Maf..

Not a fan, as you can tell.. :lol:
