Can someone tell me how Honda manage to produce engines that rev to 9k+ with the duration cams they fit.
B16 & B18's engines have less than 260 degrees of duration, I expected a much longer figure.

The Honda Vtec engine has two set of cam shafts Vtec clicky
and switches between them depending on load and revs etc.
If your going to race a Civic Type R etc do it when they have a cold engine.
The management system won't allow the Vtec to swap over
