I've been surfing the web for pictures of Ford RS200's and came across a Japanese site that featured an owner of a RS200 which was being repaired in 2000 / 2002. Amongst many pictures of the RS200 being worked on, there were these of a FRP tucked into a corner of the garage.

You can see the orginal page here:

http://www.tennodai.com/~satoh/RS200/2000_...s200pics01.html

From the dates shown at the top of the page (and the apparent condition of the FRP), it must have been imported to Japan when it was virtually brand new. wink.gif I've never heard of this before, perhaps it's one for Ed! biggrin.gif

I have known about this one for a number of years now. I exchanged e-mails with the owner of the RS200 - top quote - "Those with Racing Puma are most honourable".

The FRP was purchased new by a friend and added to his collection - miles are still in the low 000's . It is one of two in Japan. The other is still as delivered apparently.

I've never had reason to doubt it. sleep.gif
Very astute, those Japanese.

Do members of the Racing Puma Owners Club refer to themselves as 'The Honourable Member', just like the House of Commons?
'I put it to the honourable member that his heater control valve is defective.'

Thanks for that Ed. biggrin.gif

Are there any other FRP's around the world? I know there are a few in the Republic of Ireland, and one in Germany, but I'm struggling to think of any others?
