Alright kids,

It's that time of year again - the Specialist Cars of Malton Easter Big Breakfast - this Sunday, from 0830 to around midday.

Expect exotica, modifieds, classics and rather good sausage baps, all in aid of the Yorkshire Air Ambulance trust.

Be there, or, I dunno, be somewhere else.

was it good this year?
searching is fruitful | I'm a sponge not a mechanic | please do try that if stuck with a Puma problem whilst waiting for a reply | For the Puma fan this read 'The Inside Story Book' is very nice to own sometimes still seen for sale

Yeah it was busier than ever, spotted an FRP there amongst the expensive metal :)
FRP 038 - R.I.P killed by an old man in his toyota avensis.
FRP 245 - sold, then killed by new owner!
FRP 225 - sold in 2013 and regretted it ever since!FRP ??? - Now after another one after two years of Fiesta ST2 ownership.

More pics incoming, but to start us off for ten:

It was hella busy today - busier than I've ever seen it - to such a degree that the newly-built extension to the industrial estate, which, er, no-one had permission to park on, got parked on.

Lots:
Posted Image

Common as muck. I couldn't buy such a proles car, I demand rarity - and my car was the only Millenium there. As such, I am better than a BMW owner:
Posted Image

I stalked some chunky IT God with an interest in french rotboxes, but the small people who were inexplicably following him around seemed more interested in this T5 - quite right too. Big AP brakes at the front, not factory units as I recall...
Posted Image

Spotted this rather clean Vette, of the same ilk that Roadkill destroyed this week. Their one was a wreck, this one looked like a shark, moves like a shark, probably steers like a whale.
Posted Image

Anyway, Full size images as these are from the SLR, because I can.

Like I say, busy:

Posted Image

Hard used Cossie - complete with scorch marks, scratches and BTCC spec exhaust heat shield (AKA chunk of plate metal riveted around the tailpipe).
Posted Image

Look, another CSL, hiding behind the rather nice Porsche:
Posted Image

Quite a nice R34 and R32 - both GTs, rather than GTRs, but both mint:
Posted Image

This MX-5 gave it proper beans and sideways coming out of the industrial estate. Police didn't appreciate it. What is going on with those wheelnuts?
Posted Image

Watching the watchers...
Posted Image

About as rare as rare gets - Spyker C8
Posted Image

Three door, arch-cut Scoob:
Posted Image

Yes, if you take a 911 Turbo to a car meet, people might take pictures. Calm down sir, it's only for a internet forum of car twunts:
Posted Image

Beard-spec Wobbly 911:
Posted Image

Moar Turbo:
Posted Image

Popping and farting:
Posted Image

Snarling and growling:
Posted Image

Plastic fantastic:
Posted Image

Together they combine to make more powerful plastic than even a bankers wallet contains. And yes, I probably should have brought it up a bit in editing, but I didn't, because fvck you, that's why:
Posted Image

That 'Vette again:
Posted Image

A rarity - makes even the CSL seem common - a JDM Civic Type R saloon:
Posted Image

Nice MGB:
Posted Image

Nicer GeeeTeeeeThreeeeee:
Posted Image

Caged E30 M3:
Posted Image

There are two or three 'blocks' if industrial estate, all of them were like this, and all the car parks filled to the brim - when I turned up at 0915 I was told to park in town and walk out (before we discovered the Super Secret Car park in the previous post):
Posted Image

Two genuinely great to look at cars parked next to each other:
Posted Image

The highly desirable Calypso edition. What drugs were Ford on in the 80s?
Posted Image

Stag:
Posted Image

The Colour Of Correctness. And yes, if I had the money, I'd bite his hand off, although I'd have to do something about that bodykit:
Posted Image

Evoras do rather seem to be coming out of the woodwork lately. Lovely little things, with the factory spec eyebrows:
Posted Image

This Mini and Escort drew a crowd of nose-glass-types all morning - both were well turned out:
Posted Image

Yes, it has a similar set of downpipes on the other side:
Posted Image

I concur with the numberplate:
Posted Image

Not the same black 911 as before, the mesh caught my eye though, either it's a lightweight track special, or someone was cheap with some trim replacement:
Posted Image

This twunt in a Corsa thought that this was a sound off and was playing annoying (and very Parental Advisory - despite the number of kids around) music at 'drown your voice out from 50ft' levels. This isn't Macdonalds car park, you know:
Posted Image

"Don't I know you from somewhere" "I dunno, was your mum from Hethel?"
Posted Image

Eclectic:
Posted Image

Quite a few Cossies around today. And yes, I'll come back to the hidden Escort in a bit:
Posted Image

I wasn't joking about filling the place out:
Posted Image

That Escort:
Posted Image

Whenever I see it, I can't help but think it needs smaller wheels though. Arches are big enough, however:
Posted Image

Another R32:
Posted Image

Geee Teeee Twooooo:
Posted Image

this was awsume. I didn't read the notes on it, but I bet it said it's powered by unicorn blood and the tears of Mumsnet users:
Posted Image

Martini sir?
Posted Image

What's an EVT-700? Sounds like something Thyssen would make:
Posted Image

Wings and things:
Posted Image

As close as I managed to get to a pic of that 'Scrote/Mini/Westy Replica group:
Posted Image

JDM as fvck:
Posted Image

Just plain fvcked:
Posted Image

There, that's your lot.

All images are straight out of the camera with a couple of exceptions - some crops because I was too lazy to compose correctly, and that Exige towards the end needed some major correction because I screwed it up entirely by evaluating the roof, not the grille (moron).

Also, some Evo forum in jokes in there, perhaps, because I copied this post from it ;)
