To open my boot does the battery need to be connected?

I'm having trouble opening my boot, although I did open it with a bit a patience and strength lol.

Now it will not open grrrrrrr lol :blink:/>, do I need to lube the connections and catch? and if there is no way of opening it, can I open the boot from the inside the car?

Yes to have connected the car battery I think.
You have a three botton key.
Have you tried opening it with the key in the boot lock?
When you do get it open do use a bit of emery to clean the contacts.
searching is fruitful | I'm a sponge not a mechanic | please do try that if stuck with a Puma problem whilst waiting for a reply | For the Puma fan this read 'The Inside Story Book' is very nice to own sometimes still seen for sale

I haven't connected the battery, will do that tomorrow.
I have three button key.
I have tried opening with key in boot lock but without battery connected? Does not want to open.
I will use emery paper to clean contacts when boot is open.

Cheers happy-cat. :rolleyes:/>

I am not certain but I think the battery needs to be connected, as it does for the doors to open.

Your right, the battery had to be connected for the boot to open via the three key fob. :rolleyes:/>

Going to clean the contacts now too.
