To my surprise the car park was chock full of Lambo's, Porches and Vividly painted ST. I carefully parked up.... and got out hoping it wasn't a Drug Baron's convention, No it was a Piston Heads Supercar Rally going up to a Garage in Wyton.
0215 Held her end up and we were not drummed out of the car park!
Failing to keep up with the Super Mob on the A1 (Sorry lack of bottle on my part, 215 was up for it) so grabbed the Wife and went of to find them.
I have never been anywhere where a lime green Lamborghini would be inconspicuous, Lots of cars and a Bacon Roll van, we saw the Mclaren P1, Astons et al and even joined in the "Pull out and ram the throttle open ritual!" at least one photographer thought the 215 was supposed to be there so we were immortalised on film!! The wife would like 215 to be louder now, I said no!
Alloys are booked in for a Refurb with Wheel Genie in February( a long wait but they are supposed to be good ) and I am replacing the Dip Beam bulbs with Night Breakers in the hope of being able to drive at night!! I am sure my old Puma's Dips were better (nostalgia perhaps) if they are no better a polish or new Lights perhaps......

The Night Breaker Bulbs are a huge improvement, but now I can really see how grubby the Head lamps are.....
Apart from a few rattles from the drivers side window frame 215 continues to impress!

There is also a guide in the Wiki on how to clean the inside of the lights too.

The biggest risk is that I will have to increase the miles on my insurance if she carries on being as much fun as this, even in the Wind and Rain round the M25 she behaved like a trooper!
Both the wife and I are totally hooked, once the weather clears up (sometime next year perhaps) I will do some photos as promised unless the Alloys are a disaster.
Thankyou for the hint on the headlights, a good clean helped, but I think I will treat her to some new ones when the wallet has recovered.....
Cheers

Yes!! I am going to get her up on a ramp on the next week to have a look see, I am hoping that its not more serious than the exhaust etc , but as she is coming up to 90,000 miles and the last time the timing belt was done appears to be 70000 I may well go the whole hog and get them it done at the same time, what do you think? I have contacted Ryan as he is a bit more local to me but if you are interested in seeing her again please feel free to PM me!!!
