I use jenolite.
You can buy a body filler with rust inhibitor in.
I was using jenolite yesterday on a car. When I do my 1.7s arches I will just fill them.

The inner arches on the front are carpet which can be removed.
On the rear it is welded.

In the wiki is a guide on the arch rust, it is coming through from inside.
