I'm thinkin' to earn a little of HP using a little turbine as the Fiat Uno one, limited to 0.4 bar and leaving cylinder compression unchanged...

Can be possible? It change really something? :?

If you don't wanna make all the mistakes yourself:

I think it is quite close to what you are thinking of.

Right the figures are as follows-
Turbo runs at 0.35 bar and puts BHP too 150 and tourqe up too about 155-160. The turbo kicks in at 2000 rpm apparently and is supposed to pull nicley through the whole range.
They have your car ten days and the price includes everything including the chip, turbo and pipes. Because its not a huge turbo they dont need to do a lot else to the engine. The price is 2098 plus vat so nearly £2500. It sounds quite a lot to be honest. I'd be intrested to see how the Pumabuild £1500 160bhp conversion compares too this tourque wise! Any one got any experience with these?

I wouldn't expect the torque figure to raise much if any by using cams etc. You certainly won't get the same torque figures as a turbocharged car.

The van Aaken low boost option is ok, just don't expect it to give you massive gains on warm days! The boost starts to become useable from about 2000rpm through to 5,500rpm.

also don't expect to simply up the boost... it just ain't going to happen unless you basically start again... smile.gif

No idea what the Pumabuild 160 BHP torque figures are, I expect in the region of 130-140 lf ft. I'm sure Alan could give you a rolling road printout of a car with this conversion.

Mmmm as I suppose, spend nearly 4000€ for turbo conversion on a car estimated 7000€ is not quite good... NOT TO EARN ONLY 25cv!
