Right this is driving me mad! 9.gif

Have a silver puma and thinking of clear tailights if it will look alright but can't find anywhere that sells them for the puma!!! I have looked everywhere (well as far as I know) but no one does them, I don't even know if they exist!

Anybody know where a website where I might be able to get some from....

:help:

No one does these... (I ownder why...) So you will have to be creative and make some yourself, at least they will be unique smile.gif

You could spray the black bit silver I guess? Would probably look horrible though. laugh.gif

There is a way how to do it, but it's written here somewhere. Try to search.

Yeah I think I am resigned to keeping the originals but I just thought that having clear ones would look a bit different!

Spraying etc could be an option but considering i'm too lazy and its probably above my capability means its not a good idea! I'd ruin what i've already got.

If I can get a spare cluster from a breakers yard or something I might try out some stuff on it see what it looks like but something is telling like Alan said somethings are best left alone!

If you can find some rear lamp clusters from other Pumas, you could (carefully) split them open and construct your own using the reversing lights. Only problem I can see is that you must have a reflector in the cluster which is built into the red (brake) lamp. I think it's a legal requirement for a reflector.

cheers

Yeah don't know what was happening there!

It must just be me being a muppet biggrin.gif

Yeah at least by trying things with another cluster if it does look total rubbish I have done no harm to the real thing. May see what I can do over the xmas break.

Thanks

I think the black Puma looks pretty smart. I know someone who's done something similar but left the cover off, kinda afterburner style. I've got a spare that I'm gonna play with, perhaps ditch the orange lenses...

Making a puma look 'different' is simplicity itself.

Making it look better is nigh-on impossible :?

Been mentioned before, but I'd love to change the orange ones for the clear ones, so the lights are only clear and red cool2.gif

Of course, orange bulbs would be used behind the clear indicators!

I am just too scared to try it out in case I break something 9.gif

Will do. Don't exactly know what I'm going to do yet or even when I'll do it. Got to get a new one yet. Should have asked for one for Christmas. :|
