Managed to source 3 Puma spare wheels from scrap vehicles which needed a lot of prep. I'm still not at all happy as they look scabby so I'm getting them bead blasted and powder coated later, as long as I'm happy with the look. I had the tyres unmounted to make cleaning the rims easier, then put back on. I also got the tyre place to attach the wheel weights to the inside rim instead of the front to keep the clean look.

The centre caps I bought off eBay about 18 months ago in readiness, they are new old stock and are quite tricky to find (1981 base model Escort MK3 I think) so I glad I got them 8-) Black nut covers were off eBay too.

I think they look quite sinister, not expecting everyone to like them!

They are in the garage for now, am thinking about refurbing them, maybe in graphite grey.

i like them and think they are a good look and the additions you have added to them make them cool, but i think your other wheels look lovely on your milly.

They do look good in a weird way. They remind me of something you would see on a US cop car.

Look's Good, I have been thinking about getting my thunder alloys powder coated black.
I was unsure but black is looking really good on so many Puma's lately that I think it may be the way to go.

nice mod smile.gif very eye catching as well tongue.gif some people might think someone nicked your wheels and you had to use these as an alternative tongue.gif. I would like the steelies if they has a better looking pattern for those "holes" wink.gif

I quite like the look, I thought it was a good idea for winter smile.gif though weight wise I suspect they are miles heavier than the leggas
searching is fruitful | I'm a sponge not a mechanic | please do try that if stuck with a Puma problem whilst waiting for a reply | For the Puma fan this read 'The Inside Story Book' is very nice to own sometimes still seen for sale

They are heavier than the Ultralegerras...but seeing as each wheel cost less than a new tyre and I now have 4 virtually new tyres it means I can get the OZ wheels refurbed in my own sweet time, 2 tyres also need replacing on them anyway.

It's an aerial made by 'Sakura' that I bought about 8 years ago, it's kind of a soft rubbery bendy material which after a while adopts a curve like the Puma's roof cool.gif
