OK, so have only just noticed this.....

When the lights are on (sidelights or main beam) there is a clicking / grinding noise coming from the left hand side of the car (when sat in the drivers seat). Anyone any idea what could be causing this? could it be a relay on the way out? if so can I buy from Halfords and replace easy enough.

Just noticed that the nearside main beam bulb is not working, only replaced both bulbs back in Nov'08, not checked the fuses as it might be that, but it sounds suspect that the noise being heard was coming from the same side of the car.

Cheers,

headlight level adjuster is knackered I believe wink.gif theres pics of it in the gallery somewhere, I think you can pick up this part on its own and not have to get a complete light pod.

Can anyone give any more advice please on fixing this? When i park in front of a wall and ajust my lights, they do not move in the slightest so i'm guessing mine has gone too.

the dial near the steering column which seems to work the headlight height adjustment, still seems to function correctly. Could this be the case and I could still have the issue that you have commented on?

OK, changed the bulbs and checked the fuses and still no joy with getting the main beam to work on one of the lights. What next?

.. added ..

Just worked something else out.... the faulty headlight has switched sides. It was on the N/S but is now on the O/S. I did mess about with the fuses under the bonnet (well the 10 amp red ones), but I'm sure I put them back in the correct places.

The side lights work fine as well as the full beam.

Any ideas please?
