Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, champagne in one hand - strawberries in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and screaming WOO HOO -What a Ride!:D

How much tread in mm do you have left on your tyres, are they are hard compound? What's the condition of your rear tyres to?

Definitely ring a bell.
Ive had them on both my previous cars and they were fantastic never had any problems. Again i know many people who have gone through a couple of sets on there cars and again they havent ever had a problem . Bloody good tyres IMO

Just got your post. Will check more in morning, but I did check the front tyres today and there's still quite a tread in them; nothing near worn bald. What's 'hard compound?' Ta

you need to tyre tread depth guage in order to know how much tread you really have left. They cost Å“2.50 or so from Halfords and you use then on each third of the tyre to see what tread depth you have left.
Re compound, probably eaiser to post the make and model of the tyres your Puma is currently sitting on.
Hard compound refers to the rubber make up of your tyres. Very soft compound gives great grip but wear very quickly. Hard compounds last ages and ages but have low grip.
But you can't drive as fast in January as you can in August........

I have Goodyear eagle F1's on both my FRP and Mondeo (third set now) and think they are fab. have had no problems with them and find they grip really well. Find them good on motorways though noisy on the FRP but dont notice much under the growls , roars snap crackle and pop!

I'd have to agree with you there. I swear by em! I get them fitted at Costco for about Å“43. Been using em since I replaced the original Goodyear tyres and have found them to be spot on in every sense.
